Sarah from Labyrinth Amigurumi

I’m starting the week with a Sarah from Labyrinth amigurumi pattern. She’s one of my favorite female characters. The line, “You have no power over me,” has stuck with me – as I’m sure with many other girls who grew up watching this movie – and made a lasting impression. No man, or Goblin King for that matter, would ever try to dominate me!

You can purchase the ad-free and inexpensive PDF pattern in my Etsy shop or keep scrolling for the free pattern.

Although she starts off the movie seeming like a spoiled princess, by the end you can tell she’s determined, has a good heart, and is strong enough to stand against the Goblin King to take back her baby brother.

Jareth lurks behind, trying to lure her to his castle but she wants none of it!

Hair

Using dark brown or black yarn, cut 7.5” long strips. Use small crochet hook to insert into head, form loop with single strip of yarn and pull through with hook. Pull yarn ends through loop to finish hair strands. Continue until enough hair covers head.

Add a stitch with thread to “pin” hair back as pictured below. Once head is attached to body, hair can be trimmed to even length.

To assemble, lightly stuff pants with fibrefill. Using yarn tail from top, sew onto pants, stuffing with fibrefill. Place vest over top and using stitch marker or scrap yarn, mark where sleeves should go. Remove vest, sew sleeves to top and then put vest on body.
