Tree Trunks Amigurumi

Little Sister Sue is back in town and she’s the reason I recently got hooked on Adventure Time. I knew of the cartoon but never got around to watching it until last week when I found my sister watching it (apparently it’s on Netflix!). I’m almost through the first season and I love it – honestly, I don’t know why I didn’t start watching it sooner, it’s so awesome. One episode in particular inspired me to create this crochet Tree Trunks amigurumi.

I’m absolutely happy with the way this adorable elephant turned out. It brings a smile to my face when I imagine all the adventures it will have. The pattern includes instructions to make the basket. Also, I didn’t use pipecleaners for the trunk but feel free to give that a try for a more bendable trunk.
